Terms of use
Last updated: October 8, 2026
Purpose
These terms govern the use of immersioncanada.ca, published by Immersion Canada (see the legal notice). By using the site, you accept them. If you do not, please do not use the site.
Nature of the information
The site presents Immersion Canada and its services. Its content is general information: it is not legal advice or personalized immigration advice, and creates no client relationship.
Immersion Canada is not affiliated with the Government of Canada, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), any provincial government or the Malagasy State.
Immigration consulting services
Paid Canadian immigration advice and representation are provided only by a regulated consultant licensed by the CICC, as section 91 of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act requires.
No paid service is provided before a written service agreement is signed. It sets out the services, the fees or their estimate, the payment terms and the refund policy, in accordance with the CICC Code of Professional Conduct for licensees.
The pre-assessment requested through the form is a first conversation to understand your project; it commits neither you nor Immersion Canada.
No guarantee of outcome
The decision on any visa, permit, residence or citizenship application rests solely with the competent authorities. Immersion Canada and its consultants cannot guarantee the success of an application or its processing time.
Your commitments
You agree to provide accurate, up-to-date information, not to use the site or the form for unlawful, fraudulent or marketing purposes, and not to attempt to disrupt the site, bypass its protections or scrape its content.
A false or misleading statement in an immigration application can lead to refusal and inadmissibility: accuracy is in your own interest too.
Client reviews
The testimonials shown are reviews published by clients on Google, reproduced unchanged; first names are shortened. They reflect individual experiences and do not guarantee the same outcome.
Intellectual property
The site’s content is protected. You may view it and share it by link; any other reproduction or reuse requires our prior written permission.
Availability and liability
We do our best to keep the site available and accurate, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability or the absence of errors. To the extent permitted by law, Immersion Canada is not liable for indirect damage arising from the use of the site or from a decision based solely on its content.
Nothing in these terms limits the rights a mandatory law gives you, in particular Quebec’s Consumer Protection Act if you live there.
Personal data
How we use your data is described in our privacy policy.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Malagasy law. If a dispute arises, please write to us first so we can find an amicable solution. Failing that, the courts of Antananarivo have jurisdiction, subject to mandatory rules allowing you to bring a claim before the courts of your place of residence.
Canadian immigration consulting services are also governed by applicable Canadian law and by the signed service agreement. Any complaint about a consultant’s conduct can be made to the CICC (college-ic.ca).
Language and changes
The French and English versions are equally valid. We may change these terms; the version that applies is the one online when you visit.
